Janum Khan, who is better known by his stage name Jaykae, is a British rapper and actor. He comes from the Small Heath area of Birmingham, England.

Music Career
Jaykae's journey into music started when he began listening to grime artists from London. Grime is a style of electronic dance music that started in the early 2000s.
In 2017, he released a single called "Every Country." The song was produced by the famous artist Skepta and was chosen as BBC Radio 1's Tune of the Week.
Jaykae has also appeared on Fire In The Booth, a popular segment on a BBC radio show hosted by Charlie Sloth. During his performance, he shared a powerful set of songs. One song was about his life, and another was about the sad passing of his friend and fellow grime artist, Depzman.
Famous Performances and Songs
Jaykae performed on The BBC Live Lounge, a show where artists play their own songs and a cover of another artist's song. He performed his songs "Moscow" and "Toothache," along with a cover of the song "Candy" by the band Cameo.
The MOBO Awards website once called Jaykae the "essential voice of the city" of Birmingham. His song "Toothache" was even featured in the popular American TV show Power.

Jaykae has worked with many famous musicians. He was featured on Skepta's All-Star Remix of the single "That's Not Me". He also worked with Mike Skinner from the group The Streets on the tracks "CCTV" and "Boys Will Be Boys". In 2021, he released the song "1000 Nights" with singer Jorja Smith.

Jaykae had his first solo tour in December 2017, with shows in Manchester, London, and his hometown of Birmingham.
Acting Career
Besides music, Jaykae is also an actor. He plays a character named Azaar in the second season of the BBC Three show, Man Like Mobeen. In 2018, he appeared as himself on the fun interview show Chicken Shop Date.
He also appeared in the Amazon Prime Video series Jungle, where he played a character named Willow. A review in the Evening Standard newspaper said that Jaykae brought a "disconcerting lightness to his gangster role."
Personal Life
Jaykae was born and grew up in Small Heath, Birmingham. His family background includes heritage from Afghanistan, Egypt, Ireland, and Pakistan.
He is a big fan of his local football team, Birmingham City. Jaykae has mentioned that he had a difficult childhood and was bullied when he was young.
