The Lamborghini Sesto Elemento is a super cool and super fast car. It's a special kind of supercar made by Lamborghini in 2011. This car is a "track day car," which means it's built only for race tracks and not for regular roads. Lamborghini made only 20 of these amazing cars.
The name "Sesto Elemento" means "sixth element" in Italian. This is because carbon is the sixth element on the periodic table. The car uses a lot of carbon fibre to make it super light and strong.

History of the Sesto Elemento
In the middle of 2011, Lamborghini announced they would build these 20 special cars. Each car was made only for track use. They were very expensive, costing about US$2.92 million each. Even with such a high price, all 20 cars were sold before Lamborghini even started building them!
At that time, the Sesto Elemento was the most expensive Lamborghini ever made. It held that record until the Lamborghini Veneno came out. The Veneno was even more expensive, costing around US$6.5 million.
Engine and Power
The Sesto Elemento uses a powerful 5.2-liter V10 engine. This is the same type of engine found in the Lamborghini Gallardo. This engine gives the Sesto Elemento about 570 horsepower. It also produces 540 Newton-meters of torque, which is the twisting force that helps the car accelerate.
The engine works with Lamborghini's special six-speed semi-automatic transmission. This system sends power to all four wheels, which is called all-wheel drive. This helps the car grip the road better, especially when going very fast.
Lightweight Design
Almost the entire Sesto Elemento is made from carbon fibre. This special material is incredibly strong but also very light. Because of all the carbon fibre, the car only weighs 999 kilograms (about 2,202 pounds). That's less than some small family cars! This light weight helps the Sesto Elemento go incredibly fast.
Amazing Performance
Lamborghini says the Sesto Elemento is super quick. It can go from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour (about 62 miles per hour) in just 2.5 seconds. That's faster than many roller coasters! It can also reach 200 kilometers per hour (about 124 miles per hour) in only 8.0 seconds. The Sesto Elemento has a top speed of 356 kilometers per hour (about 221 miles per hour).
