Lara Catherina Stone (born 20 December 1983) is a famous model from the Netherlands. She became well-known for her unique look, including her gap-toothed smile. Lara was discovered when she was only 12 years old.

She has appeared on the covers of many top fashion magazines like W and Vogue. Lara has also worked with big fashion brands such as Fendi, Chanel, Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Versace.

Early Life and Discovery

Lara Stone was born in Geldrop, a town in the Netherlands. She grew up in a smaller town called Mierlo. Her mother is Dutch and her father is English.

When Lara was 12, she was on holiday with her family in Paris. She was discovered in the Paris Metro by a talent scout. This led her to enter the Elite Model Look competition in 1999 when she was 15.

Even though she didn't win the competition, she impressed the people at Elite Model Management. They signed her to their agency, starting her modeling journey.

Lara Stone began her professional modeling career in 2006. She signed with IMG Models and quickly became a rising star in the fashion world.

Breakthrough Years: 2006–2008

In January 2006, Lara made her first appearance on a fashion runway. She walked for Riccardo Tisci's Givenchy show during Paris Fashion Week. Later that year, she worked exclusively for Calvin Klein. This meant she only modeled for them for a period.

On July 17, 2021, Lara Stone married property developer David Grievson.
