Early Life and Music Beginnings

Lauren Evans grew up in San Bernardino, California. Her father was a pastor, and she recorded several songs for a Christian music label called Maranatha! Music. One of her songs, "You're Worthy of My Praise," became very popular on the radio.

Lauren's Music Career

Lauren's music journey started early. She worked with producers Buster & Shavoni and even sang on the soundtrack for the DreamWorks movie The Prince of Egypt. For this, she used the name Christian. A song she helped write, "Didn't I," was nominated for an award in 1999. Later, another song she wrote, "Brighter Days," was featured in the 2003 movie The Fighting Temptations.
