Lior Suchard (born December 6, 1981) is a famous Israeli mentalist. A mentalist is someone who uses special skills to make it seem like they can read minds, predict things, or influence thoughts. Lior is also an entertainer and businessman. He is well-known for winning the TV show The Successor.

Early Life and First Performances
Suchard was born in Haifa, Israel. He was the youngest of three brothers. When he was a child, he was a quiet student who loved math. He started performing for other kids at school. By age 14, he was already doing shows at parties and events. He graduated from the Reali School in Haifa.
Starting His Career and Winning The Successor
After serving three years in the Israeli Air Force, Lior started performing more often in Israel. He first appeared on national TV morning shows.
In 2005, he was invited to be on The Successor. This was a TV show by famous mentalist Uri Geller. The show aired in late 2006. Suchard won the competition, beating eight other people. This win was a big step for Lior. The show was also broadcast in other countries like Germany, Poland, and Italy.

Lior Suchard became even more famous after appearing on many American TV shows. He was on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno five times. He also appeared on The View, Larry King Now, Good Morning America, The Late Late Show with James Corden, Live with Kelly and Ryan, Dr. Phil, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
In May 2012, Suchard hosted a game show called Money Pump in Israel. He also hosted the show Brain Games.
In 2020, Lior's new show "Gone Mental with Lior" aired on the video platform Quibi. Lior helped produce the show and starred in it with celebrities like Ben Stiller, David Dobrik, and Kate Hudson.
In 2019, Suchard was invited to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest. He showed his skills to the contestants and TV audience. This was the first time a non-musical performer was invited to be on the Eurovision telecast.

Amazing Predictions in Real Life
In 2013, during the elections for the Nineteenth Knesset (Israel's parliament), Suchard was asked to predict the results. About ten days before the votes were counted, he wrote his prediction on a note. This note was placed in a vault under strict guard. After the votes were counted, it was found that Suchard's prediction was exactly right.
In January 2016, Lior appeared on Australian television. Ten hours before a cricket match between Australia and India, he correctly predicted the final score of the game.
World Tours and Special Shows
Suchard is a very popular performer and has done shows in over 70 countries. In February 2016, he went on a tour of Australia, performing 18 times. He even performed seven times at the famous Sydney Opera House.
In 2012, Suchard was invited to perform at Barbra Streisand's 70th birthday party. He was the main act and amazed all the famous guests. After this, he was asked to join her on her tour. His first performance with her had about 7,000 people. Other shows attracted crowds of 20,000 people. Barbra Streisand was very impressed by his abilities.
In 2018, Suchard did a series of shows with behavioral scientist Dan Ariely.
Business Ventures
Besides performing, Suchard has also invested in several companies. He invested in Reposify, which was later bought by Crowdstrike. He is also a partner with Merlin Ventures. Suchard was an investor and advisor for MUGO and is an investor and advisor for the startup company Anywear. He has also invested in Thursday Boot and Emboline. He was the chief brand officer for Robotemi and is an ambassador for Hublot.

In 2017, Lior presented safety instructions in videos for El Al Airlines. These videos replaced the older animated ones.

Personal Life
Suchard met his future wife, Tal, when she was working in a cafe. He impressed her by guessing her phone number. He now lives in Tel Aviv, Israel, with Tal and their three children.
