Little Trees Hill is a cool spot in the Gog Magog Hills! These are gentle, chalky hills found south-east of Cambridge in England. It's one of the highest points around, even though it's not a huge mountain. What's special is that you can actually walk right to the top. This is unusual for a hill in Cambridgeshire!

Exploring Little Trees Hill
You can easily reach the top of Little Trees Hill on foot. There's a path that starts from the Magog Down car park. This car park is on Haverhill Road, near Stapleford. The path leads you across a pretty meadow called North Down.
Reaching the Summit
The very highest point of the hill is actually hidden behind a fence, inside a small wood. But don't worry, most visitors enjoy the amazing view from special seats. These seats are placed right by the fence, giving you a great spot to look out.
Amazing Views from the Top
When you stand on Little Trees Hill, you can see a huge distance, especially towards the west. If you look northwest, there's no higher land for about 50 miles! That's all the way until you reach the Lincolnshire Wolds.
What You Can See
From the top, you'll spot the city of Cambridge. You can easily see Addenbrooke's Hospital and a big Catholic Church. Across the Cam valley, you might even see the Madingley Hills. Castle Hill in Cambridge also stands out. If you have binoculars, look southwest to see Rowley's Hill and an obelisk on St Margaret's Mount.
Magog Down: A Place to Explore
Little Trees Hill is part of a larger area called Magog Down. This whole site is privately owned and covers about 163.5 acres. It's looked after by a group called The Magog Trust. They make sure the area is kept nice for everyone to enjoy.
Paths and Activities
Magog Down has many different paths you can follow. They go in circles and come in various lengths, so you can choose a short walk or a longer adventure. It's a very popular place for people to walk their dogs. And on those rare snowy days, you might even see people having fun sledding down the hills!
Connection to Wandlebury Hill
Little Trees Hill is not alone! It's connected to another hill called Wandlebury Hill. Wandlebury Hill is about 500 metres (that's half a kilometre) to the north-east. A low ridge of land connects these two hills.
