Littlest Pet Shop is a fun video game based on the popular toy series of the same name. In this game, players can collect and care for many cute virtual pets. It was made by Electronic Arts and lets you play on your PC, Wii, and Nintendo DS. The game first came out in North America on October 14, 2008.
How the Game Was Made
The story of the Littlest Pet Shop video game began in August 2007. At that time, a big company called Electronic Arts got the rights to make games based on several popular brands from Hasbro. These brands included well-known toys like Monopoly, Littlest Pet Shop, and Nerf.
A few months later, in February 2008, Electronic Arts announced more details. They shared that their game studio, EA Salt Lake, would be in charge of making the Littlest Pet Shop game. They also worked on another game called Nerf N-Strike around the same time.
Different Game Versions
The Littlest Pet Shop game was released in a few different versions, especially for the Nintendo DS. For the DS, there were actually three separate games! Each of these versions had its own unique collection of pets that players could find and play with.
The Nintendo DS versions also included a special feature called DGamer. This was an online service created by Disney. It allowed players to connect with friends, share their game progress, and unlock special items online.
