Mark Little is a well-known Irish journalist, TV presenter, and author. He used to host a popular TV show called Prime Time on RTÉ. In 2010, he started his own company called Storyful, which focused on digital news. Later, he worked at Twitter in Europe and Ireland.

Mark Little's Early Life and School
Mark Little was born in Dublin, Ireland. He lived in Malahide, County Dublin, and later moved to Oughterard, County Galway.
He studied at Trinity College Dublin for five years. In 1997, he earned his degree. While in college, he was the president of the Students' Union for one year.
Mark Little's Career in Journalism
Mark Little started his career in journalism at The Sunday Business Post newspaper. In 1991, he joined RTÉ News and Current Affairs as a TV reporter.
Reporting from Washington D.C.
In 1995, Mark became RTÉ's first reporter in Washington, D.C., USA. He stayed there until 2001. After that, he returned to Dublin to report on foreign affairs. In 2001, he won an award for TV Journalist of the Year.
During his time with RTÉ, he met important US politicians. These included Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama. He also reported from places affected by disasters and conflicts. These areas were in Iraq, Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas.
Hosting TV Shows and Specials
In 2006, Mark presented a documentary called Who's Afraid of Islam?. In 2008, he hosted American Dream: Dead or Alive on RTÉ One.
He often presented special news programs for RTÉ. These included reports on Government budgets and elections.
Prime Time and New Projects
In 2002, Mark joined RTÉ's main current affairs show, Prime Time. He co-hosted it with Miriam O'Callaghan.
In November 2009, he decided to take a break from RTÉ for a year. He wanted to work on a new project. This project would combine digital media with global journalism. His last Prime Time show was on December 17, 2009.
On April 12, 2010, he launched his new project, storyful.com. He created this website with other web journalists.
Working at Twitter and Kinzen
In 2015, Mark joined Twitter. He first worked as a vice president for media in Europe. Later, he became the managing director of Twitter in Ireland. He left Twitter in 2016.
After Twitter, Mark started a company called Neva Labs. This company was launched in 2018 as Kinzen. In 2022, Spotify bought Kinzen.
Mark Little's Family Life
Mark Little is married to Tara Peterman. She is American and used to work with him on Prime Time. They have two children, a daughter named Daisy and a son named Tommy. The family lives in Dalkey, County Dublin.
