MasterChef Pinoy Edition is a fun cooking show from the Philippines. It's part of the famous MasterChef TV series. This first season started on November 12, 2012, and was shown on ABS-CBN.
The show was hosted by the well-known actress Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo. She was joined by three talented chefs who judged the contestants: Chef Fernando Aracama, Chef Rolando Laudico, and Chef JP Anglo.
The exciting final episode was called MasterChef Pinoy Edition: The Live Cook-Off. It happened live on February 9, 2013, at the SM North EDSA Skydome in Quezon City. Famous personalities Kris Aquino and Richard Gomez also helped the judges decide the winner. JR Royol, a band vocalist from Benguet, won the competition. He received a million pesos, a cooking scholarship, and a new kitchen for his home.
