Matt Schwartz (born 26 October 1971) is a talented Israeli-British music maker. He is a record producer, which means he helps artists create their music. He also writes songs, composes music, and works as a DJ.
Matt Schwartz's Early Life
Matt Schwartz was born in Israel. In the early 1990s, he moved to London, England. He studied at Kingston University. In 1994, he started working at a music studio called Hit-House. There, he worked with other artists like Farley "Jackmaster" Funk.
His Music Career
From 1996 to 1998, Matt worked at BeatFarm Studios. He produced music for famous groups like Massive Attack. In 1998, he decided to focus more on his own music. He started his own record label, Destined Records, in 2000. He also helped start Blackgold Recordings.
In 2005, Matt performed as "The Drill" at the Paris Techno Parade. He has played many shows as 'The Drill Sound System' and 'DADA Sound System'. His music has even been in movies like The Matrix. He uses different names for his music, such as M'Black, DADA, and Deepest Blue. From 2004 to 2007, his song "Shooting Star" was the theme song for Sky Sports.
