Team Mascot
The Michigan Wolverines do not have a live or costumed mascot. This is mostly because of tradition. In the late 1920s, they had an unofficial mascot named Biff. The first Biff was a stuffed wolverine. Later, there was a live wolverine named Biff and his friend Bennie. But they became too wild to bring to games, so their mascot career ended.
