The western part of Mount Delaney is quite hilly. It's located on the D'Aguilar Range. This area includes parts of the D'Aguilar National Park and Mount Mee State Forest. These are great places for nature lovers.
A stream called Delaneys Creek flows through the area. It winds from east to west. This creek eventually joins Nuerum Creek. Both creeks feed into the Stanley River system.
