Exploring Mount Wyatt's Geography
Mount Wyatt is a very quiet and mostly undeveloped place. This means there are not many buildings or large towns. It is a sparsely populated area, so you won't find many people living close together.
Rivers and Waterways
Several important rivers flow through or near Mount Wyatt. The Burdekin Dam is a large dam on the western edge of the area. The Suttor River flows into the Burdekin Dam and forms the south-western border. The Sellheim River also flows through the south-western part and joins the Suttor River.
The Burdekin River (which is upstream from the dam) forms the north-western border. The Bowen River flows through the northern part of Mount Wyatt and eventually joins the Burdekin River.
Mining Exploration
In the southern part of Mount Wyatt, some companies have special permits to look for minerals. This is called "mining exploration." They are trying to find out if there are valuable resources hidden underground.
