What is Mountain Creek's Geography Like?

Mountain Creek gets its name from a creek that flows down the southern side of Buderim. This creek is affected by the ocean's tides for a short part of its journey. It eventually joins the Mooloolah River, close to a spot called the Cod Hole and the Traffic Bridge on the Nicklin Way.

When Was Mountain Creek Established?

The suburb of Mountain Creek was officially named and given its boundaries on 25 October 1986. Over the years, new schools have opened to support the growing community:
