Lehigh Canal

The Lehigh Canal is a historic waterway that runs along the Lehigh River. Canals are like man-made rivers that help boats move goods. Central Railroad of New Jersey Station

Little Gap Covered Bridge

The Little Gap Covered Bridge is a charming old wooden bridge with a roof, located south of Little Gap. Covered bridges were built to protect the wooden parts of the bridge from weather, making them last longer. This bridge is a lovely example of old-fashioned engineering.

Mauch Chunk Switchback Railway

The Mauch Chunk Switchback Railway was one of the very first roller coasters in America! It started as a railway to carry coal from the mines down to the canal. Later, it became a fun ride for people. It runs between Summit Hill and Jim Thorpe.
