For her final performance in the show, Netta sang a mix of "Gangnam Style" by Psy and "Tik Tok" by Kesha. She won first place, which meant she would represent Israel at Eurovision.

On February 25, 2018, it was announced that Netta's Eurovision song would be called "Toy". Most of the song was in English, with a small part in Hebrew. The song was written by Doron Medalie and Stav Beger.

"Toy" was released on March 11, 2018. Its music video quickly became very popular, getting over 20 million views before the Eurovision contest even started. Netta performed her song at a special Eurovision event in Amsterdam and at Israel's 70th Independence Day celebration.

On May 8, 2018, Netta competed in the first semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest. She won her semi-final, which meant she moved on to the final.
