New Brighton is a small town, called a borough, in Pennsylvania, USA. It's located in the middle of Beaver County, right next to the Beaver River. This town is about 28 miles (45 km) northwest of a big city called Pittsburgh. In 2020, about 5,729 people lived here. New Brighton is also part of the larger Pittsburgh area.

New Brighton has a rich history! Long ago, this area was a busy place for many different industries. Factories in New Brighton made things like pottery, bricks, and glass. They also produced flour, twine, and even parts for refrigerators and bathtubs. Other important products included steel castings, nails, rivets, and wire. This shows how important manufacturing was to the town's growth.

Neighboring Towns and Areas
To the north, New Brighton shares a border with Daugherty Township. To the east, you'll find Pulaski Township. To the southeast, it borders Rochester Township.
Across the Beaver River to the west, there are several other towns. From north to south, these include Beaver Falls, Patterson Heights, Patterson Township, and Fallston.
Main Roads and Highways
Two important roads, Pennsylvania Route 18 and Pennsylvania Route 65, run through the middle of New Brighton. They are both called Third Avenue in town.
If you head south on these roads, they will take you to Rochester, which is located on the Ohio River. If you go north, PA-18 crosses the Beaver River into Beaver Falls. PA-65 turns northeast and leads to Ellwood City.

According to the 2010 census, there were 6,025 people living in New Brighton. These people lived in 2,434 households, and 1,550 of these were families. The population density was about 6,450 people per square mile (2,490 per square kilometer). There were also 2,615 housing units, which are places where people can live.
Most of the people in New Brighton were White (84%). About 10.7% were African American. A small number were Native American (0.30%) or Asian (0.10%). About 4.8% of the population identified as being from two or more races. People of Hispanic or Latino background made up 1.5% of the total population.
