Where Does the Water Go?
The water from Norway Lake doesn't just stay there! It has an important journey. The main way water leaves the lake is through an unnamed creek. This creek flows out from the southwest side of Norway Lake.
The water from Norway Lake then travels to Rainy Lake. From Rainy Lake, it continues its journey through several other creeks and rivers. These include Rainy Creek, Partridge Creek, and the Skootamatta River. Finally, all this water joins the Moira River. The Moira River then flows into the Bay of Quinte on Lake Ontario at a city called Belleville. So, a drop of water from Norway Lake could end up in one of the Great Lakes!
