Ocean View is a quiet, rural area in Queensland, Australia. It is part of the City of Moreton Bay. In 2021, about 1,022 people lived here. It is known for its peaceful countryside, with lots of open spaces and small farms.

Where is Ocean View?

Ocean View is located north of a town called Dayboro. It is often called the "gateway" to the Mount Mee mountain range. This area is about a 10-minute drive from Dayboro.

Ocean View sits on top of the mountain. It is a very quiet and private rural area. You will find many large properties here. There are also small farms and even some places that make wine. A road called Brisbane–Woodford Road (also known as Mount Mee Road) goes through Ocean View. It runs from the south-east to the west.

Ocean View once had its own school. The Ocean View State School opened on April 10, 1922. The building for this school was moved from another place called Armstrong Creek. Sadly, the school closed its doors in 1963.
