The Phineas and Ferb soundtrack album is the first music collection from the popular Disney Channel TV show, Phineas and Ferb. It was released on September 22, 2009, in the United States as a compact disc. This album features 26 songs from the first season of the show. It also includes a special bonus song called "The F-Games," which you could only listen to online.
By March 6, 2010, the album had sold around 122,600 copies in the United States.

About the Music
Most of the songs on this soundtrack are performed by the voice actors from Phineas and Ferb. The only exception is Bowling for Soup, who sings the catchy theme song for the series. One of the songs, "Gitchee Gitchee Goo," sung by Vincent Martella (who voices Phineas) and Ashley Tisdale (who voices Candace), was also featured on another album called Disney Channel Playlist in 2009.
When the Album Came Out
The release date for the album changed a few times. It was first planned for February 10, 2009, then moved to August 4. Finally, on June 26, 2009, the release date was set for September 22, 2009. This date was confirmed on the official website. The soundtrack was later released in the United Kingdom on October 10, 2009, by EMI.
