Philippa Charlotte Matthews (born 6 September 1983), known as Pippa Middleton, is a well-known British writer and public figure. She is the younger sister of Catherine, Princess of Wales, who is married to Prince William.
Pippa was born in Reading, Berkshire, England, and grew up in Bucklebury. She went to Marlborough College and later studied English literature at the University of Edinburgh. After university, she worked in fields like public relations and organizing events. She also helped with her parents' company, Party Pieces, which sells party supplies.
Pippa became widely known during her sister Catherine's relationship with Prince William. She especially gained attention for her role as maid of honor at their wedding in 2011. She has written two books, Celebrate and Heartfelt, and contributed articles to magazines like Vanity Fair and The Sunday Telegraph.
In 2017, Pippa married James Matthews. He is a businessman and a former racing driver. They have three children together.

Philippa Charlotte Middleton was born on 6 September 1983 in Reading, Berkshire, England. She is the second of three children. Her father, Michael Middleton, used to work for British Airways. Her mother, Carole Middleton, was a flight attendant.
Pippa has an older sister, Catherine, who is now the Princess of Wales. She also has a younger brother named James.
The Middleton family moved to Amman, Jordan for a few years when Pippa was a baby because of her father's job. They returned to Berkshire, England, in 1986.
In 1987, Pippa's mother started a company called Party Pieces. This company sells party supplies by mail order.
The family moved to the village of Bucklebury in 1995. Pippa went to private schools, including St Andrew's School, Pangbourne and Downe House School. She then attended Marlborough College, where she received a scholarship for sports and all-around abilities.

In June 2014, Pippa became an ambassador for the British Heart Foundation (BHF). The BHF is a charity that helps people with heart conditions. That month, she took part in a 3,000-mile cycling race across the United States called the Race Across America. She also participated in a 6.5 km swimming competition in Istanbul. Both events helped raise money for the BHF.
Her bicycle from the race was even sold on eBay to raise more money for the charity. She also attended the BHF's Roll out the Red Ball in February 2015. At this event, she auctioned off one of her dresses to help the cause.
In June 2015, Pippa worked with a British fashion brand called Tabitha Webb. They designed a pink dress and a scarf. The money from selling these items was given to the BHF. She also took part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride for the BHF in June 2015.

Pippa Middleton's Personal Life
Pippa was the maid of honor at her sister Catherine's wedding to Prince William in 2011. Her dress for the wedding was designed by Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen. The dress was highly praised by the media. It was made of ivory fabric with a special neckline and buttons.

In July 2016, Pippa became engaged to James Matthews in the Lake District. James is a businessman and a former professional racing driver.
The couple got married on 20 May 2017 at St Mark's Church, which is located on the Englefield Estate in Berkshire. This area is close to the Middleton family home. James Matthews' father is the Laird of Glen Affric, which is a large estate in Scotland. When her husband inherits this title, Pippa will be known as Lady Glen Affric. Pippa and James have three children. Their son, Arthur Michael William, was born on 15 October 2018. Their first daughter, Grace Elizabeth Jane, was born on 15 March 2021. Their second daughter, Rose Louise Victoria, was born in June 2022. The family lives on the Barton Court estate, which is near the River Kennet in West Berkshire.
