Plymouth is a small town in Windsor County, Vermont, United States. In 2020, about 641 people lived there.
Plymouth is famous as the birthplace of Calvin Coolidge. He was the 30th president of the United States. He also grew up in Plymouth and is buried in the Plymouth Notch cemetery. The State of Vermont helps take care of the Coolidge Homestead and the historic village of Plymouth Notch.

Plymouth has a rich history, especially linked to the Coolidge family.
The Coolidge Family and Plymouth Cheese
The old store owned by John Calvin Coolidge, Sr. was very important. He was the father of President Calvin Coolidge. This store also served as the town's post office in the 1920s. John Coolidge's wife, Carrie, was the postmaster from 1903 to 1917.
President Coolidge's father also started a business called Plymouth Cheese. This company still makes special artisan cheese today. It's a tasty part of Plymouth's history!
Hurricane Irene's Impact
In 2011, Hurricane Irene caused a lot of flooding in Vermont. Plymouth was one of thirteen towns that became cut off because of the floodwaters.
