Porky Flat is a small area or "locality" in South Australia, a state in Australia. It is found on the Dudley Peninsula, which is part of Kangaroo Island. From Porky Flat, you can see the Southern Ocean, also known as the Great Australian Bight.
Porky Flat is about 116 kilometers (72 miles) south of Adelaide, the capital city of South Australia. It's also about 18 kilometers (11 miles) south-west of Penneshaw, another town on Kangaroo Island.

Porky Flat got its official boundaries in March 2002. Its name comes from a natural flat area of land called "Porky Flat" that is now inside the locality.
