Fun Facts About the Show
Potamus Park was a well-liked show. However, new episodes stopped being made in 1999. This was partly because another popular children's show, Bananas in Pyjamas, became very popular and had a lot of viewers. Even after new episodes stopped, CITV continued to show reruns of Potamus Park for several years into the early 2000s. This allowed more children to discover and enjoy the adventures of the hippos and their friends.
