Radzi Chinyanganya (born on September 12, 1986) is a popular British television presenter. He is well-known for hosting many shows, especially for children. From 2013 to 2019, he was a presenter on the famous BBC children's show Blue Peter. He also co-hosted the ITV game show Cannonball in 2017.
Before Blue Peter, Radzi presented Wild on CBBC. He also hosted Match of the Day Kickabout from 2013 to 2014. Radzi has a lot of experience in sports presenting, including for the Olympics and snooker.

Radzi's Early Life
Radzi Chinyanganya was born in Oxford, England. He lived there until he was ten years old. Later, he moved to Wolverhampton for his teenage years. His mother is Scottish, and his father is from Zimbabwe.
He went to Adams' Grammar School in Newport. After school, he studied at Loughborough University. While at university, he worked at their TV and radio station. This helped him get started in broadcasting.
After university, Radzi tried to join the British skeleton bobsleigh team. He hoped to compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics. Even though he did not qualify, it shows his dedication to sports.
Radzi's Career in TV
Hosting Sports Events
Radzi's big break came at a screen test for the London 2012 Olympics. He was chosen to be the official weightlifting presenter. He spoke on stage, interviewed athletes, and entertained the crowds. He was also invited back to present at the London 2012 Paralympic Games.
He continued his sports presenting career. Radzi was a presenter for the BBC's coverage of the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. He also presented at the 2020 Snooker World Championship in Sheffield. In 2018, he was the official commentator for the World's Ultimate Strongman Competition in Dubai.
In 2021, Radzi joined the Eurosport team for the Tokyo Olympics. He then became the main presenter for snooker's Triple Crown events on Eurosport.
Television Shows
Radzi presented Your Body: Your Image for BBC Two. This was an educational series about body image for schools. He also co-presented Wild on CBBC starting in 2013.
In October 2013, Radzi became the 37th presenter of Blue Peter. He was a much-loved part of the show until 2019. He also worked as a reporter and presenter for CBBC's Match of the Day Kickabout.
In January 2020, Radzi competed in the twelfth series of Dancing on Ice. He skated with professional partner Jess Hatfield.
Other Interesting Work
Radzi was a contestant on Sky One's Gladiators in 2008. He made it to the semi-finals of the competition. He was also the only contestant ever to try the eliminator wearing a swimming cap!
He was chosen to attend Kiss FM's Presenter Academy. He spent a whole summer reporting online for the radio station. In this role, he interviewed artists and the public. He also explored Olympic entertainment in London.
Radzi even had a small voice role in the movie Kung Fu Panda 3. He voiced the character Mi.
Radzi's Personal Life
Radzi Chinyanganya is a Christian. He has shared that his faith is very important to him. His parents were also Christians, but from different churches. This meant he grew up learning about different Christian traditions.
In November 2020, Radzi announced on the BBC's Songs of Praise programme that he had been baptized. His baptism took place at a Roman Catholic church in Ardler, Scotland. This is his mother's hometown.
