The Remi River is a small river in Ontario, Canada. It flows through the northern part of the province. This river is part of a much larger water system. Its waters eventually reach James Bay. The Remi River is a branch of the Kapuskasing River.
Where the Remi River Flows
The Remi River starts at a place called Outlet Bay. This bay is on the northwest side of Remi Lake. The lake is inside René Brunelle Provincial Park. The park is a protected area in Ontario.
From Lake to River
After leaving the lake, the river flows north. It leaves the provincial park. Then it enters another area called geographic Torrance Township. Finally, the Remi River joins the Kapuskasing River.
Journey to James Bay
The water from the Remi River travels a long way. First, it flows into the Kapuskasing River. Next, the Kapuskasing River joins the Mattagami River. After that, the Mattagami River flows into the Moose River. Finally, the Moose River empties into James Bay. James Bay is a large body of water. It is part of the Hudson Bay in northern Canada.
