Robstown is a city in Nueces County, Texas, United States. It is a western suburb of Corpus Christi. The city was started around 1906. It was named after Robert Driscoll.
In 2020, about 10,143 people lived in Robstown. The Texas State Legislature officially says that Robstown is where the famous card game Texas hold 'em poker began.

Points of Interest
The Robstown post office has a special painting inside. It is a mural called Founding and Subsequent Development of Robstown, Texas. Alice Reynolds painted it in 1941. This painting was part of a program by the U.S. government to create art during the 1930s and 1940s.
Robstown Neighborhoods
Robstown has different areas, or neighborhoods.
- The Ashburn, Kissling area is east of Bluebonnet. It is near the Robstown Early College High School.
- The Bluebonnet area is in the northwest part of town. It is also next to Robstown Early College High School.
- Casa Blanca is south of the city and south of the Kansas City Railroad tracks.
- San Pedro is on the west side, near San Pedro Elementary School.
Education in Robstown
The Robstown Independent School District serves the city of Robstown. Students attend schools within this district.
Robstown Early College High School has a special program. It works with Del Mar College, Coastal Bend College, and the University of Texas. This program helps students earn college credits while still in high school.
Del Mar College is the main community college for all of Nueces County.
