Russell's Journey on So You Think You Can Dance
Russell competed on So You Think You Can Dance season 6. This was a popular dance competition on FOX. For the first five weeks, his dance partner was Noelle Marsh.
Before the show started filming, Noelle got hurt. So, in week 1, Russell danced with their choreographer, Melanie LaPatin. In week 6, he danced with Mollee Gray. For week 7, his partner was supposed to be Ashleigh Di Lello. But she also got hurt and could not dance.
Russell was the first Krumper to make it far in the show. He reached the Vegas round, the Top 20, the Top 10, and finally the Finale. He then won the whole competition! Sadly, he got hurt during the finale. This meant he could not perform his last dances.
