Sebastian Francisco Lletget (born September 3, 1992) is an American professional soccer player. He plays as a midfielder for the Major League Soccer club FC Dallas.

Early Years in Soccer
Sebastian Lletget was born in San Francisco, California. His parents are from Argentina. He grew up in South San Francisco, California. He went to El Camino High School.
Sebastian played for a team called Santa Clara Sporting in Silicon Valley. Scouts from the West Ham United International academy saw him play. In 2009, he moved to England to join their team.
Club Career Highlights
Playing for West Ham United
Sebastian Lletget signed his first professional contract with West Ham in September 2010. He played in some friendly games before the main season started. He was also a substitute player for four Premier League games during the 2012–13 season.
His career slowed down a bit when he got sick with mononucleosis. Even so, he signed a new contract in 2013. Sebastian played his first official game for West Ham on January 5, 2014. This was in an FA Cup match against Nottingham Forest.
Time with LA Galaxy
On May 8, 2015, Lletget joined LA Galaxy. He played his first game for the Galaxy on May 17, 2015. He came into the game as a substitute. On May 30, he played for LA Galaxy II, which is a team connected to LA Galaxy.
Sebastian made his first start with the main LA Galaxy team on June 13. In that game, he scored his first goal for the Galaxy! He kept scoring, getting goals in four games in a row that June. This included games against Orlando City SC, Columbus Crew, Philadelphia Union, and Portland Timbers.
In 2016, Lletget scored two goals in a U.S. Open Cup game against La Máquina FC. He scored two more goals in another U.S. Open Cup match, helping the Galaxy reach the semi-finals.
After recovering from an injury in 2017, Sebastian scored the first goal for the Galaxy in a big game called the "El Tráfico." This was his first goal since coming back from his injury.
Moving to New England Revolution
On December 14, 2021, Lletget was traded to the New England Revolution. He started his first game with them and scored a goal in a 2–2 tie against Portland Timbers.
On March 9, 2022, Sebastian scored the winning goal for the Revolution. This was in a 2022 CONCACAF Champions League quarter-final game. He scored his second league goal for the Revolution on May 21, 2022.
Joining FC Dallas
On August 3, 2022, FC Dallas got Lletget from the Revolution. This was part of a trade deal. He has been playing for FC Dallas since then.
International Career
Sebastian Lletget has played for the United States at different age levels. He played for the under-17, under-20, and under-23 teams.
Playing for the United States National Team
On January 6, 2017, Sebastian was called to play for the main United States national team (USMNT) for the first time. He played his first game for the USMNT on January 29 against Serbia.
On March 24, 2017, Lletget scored his first goal for the USMNT. This was in a World Cup qualifier game against Honduras. In the same game, he got a serious foot injury and had surgery. He was out of the game for six months.
He was called back to the national team on October 1, 2018, after recovering from his injury.
Lletget played in the 2019–20 CONCACAF Nations League. He started in a game where the USMNT won 4–1 against Canada. He also played in the finals of that tournament in June 2021. He helped the team win the semi-final against Honduras. He also played as a substitute in the final game, where the USMNT won 3–2 against Mexico.
Sebastian also played in the 2021 CONCACAF Gold Cup for the United States. He was even the team captain twice! He started in the final game, which the United States won 1–0 against Mexico.
He played in four qualifying games for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. He scored a goal in a 4–1 win against Honduras.
Personal Life
In June 2016, it was confirmed that Sebastian Lletget is in a relationship with singer and actress Becky G. He appeared in her music video for "My Man" in 2020. The couple announced they were engaged on December 9, 2022.
