Senad Lulić (born 18 January 1986) is a former football player from Bosnia. He mostly played as a midfielder.
Lulić began his football journey at Chur 97. He then joined Bellinzona in 2006. Two years later, he moved to Grasshoppers. In 2010, he was transferred to Young Boys. The next year, he joined the Italian club Lazio.
Lulić first played for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team in 2008. He played more than 50 games for his country until 2017. He was part of the team that played in their first big tournament, the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Senad Lulić announced his retirement from football on 1 June 2022.

Starting His Football Journey
Senad Lulić's family moved to Switzerland because of the Bosnian War. This is where he started playing football. He joined a local club called Chur 97 in 1998. He was part of their youth team.
Lulić played his first professional game in 2003 when he was 17 years old. In the summer of 2006, Lulić moved to Bellinzona. In May 2008, he signed with Grasshoppers. Then, in May 2010, he joined Young Boys.
Playing for Lazio
In June 2011, Lulić moved to the Italian team Lazio. He made his first official appearance for Lazio on 18 August in a UEFA Europa League game. A few weeks later, he played his first league game against Milan.
On 23 October, he scored his first goal for Lazio in a win against Bologna. Lulić won his first trophy with Lazio on 26 May 2013. They beat their city rivals Roma in the Coppa Italia final. Lulić scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute.
He played his 100th game for Lazio on 28 November against Legia Warsaw. In January 2016, he signed a new four-year contract with the club. He played his 200th game for Lazio on 16 October.
In July 2017, Lulić was chosen as the team's captain. He won his first title as captain on 13 August. Lazio beat Juventus in the 2017 Supercoppa Italiana.
On 29 November 2018, Lulić played his 294th game for Lazio. This put him in the top 10 players with the most appearances for the club. He played his 300th game for the team on 26 December and scored a goal.
On 7 December 2019, he played his 343rd game for Lazio. This meant he had played more games for the club than Aldo Puccinelli, becoming the 5th all-time appearance maker. Lulić played in the UEFA Champions League for the first time on 23 February 2021 against Bayern Munich.

Playing for Bosnia and Herzegovina
In May 2008, Lulić was called up to play for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team for the first time. This was for a friendly game against Azerbaijan. He made his debut in that game on 1 June.
On 7 June 2013, Lulić scored his first goal for his country. This was during a 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier game against Latvia.
In June 2014, Lulić was chosen to be part of Bosnia and Herzegovina's team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup. This was the first major tournament for his country. He played his first game in the tournament on 15 June against Argentina.
Lulić was one of the best players at setting up goals in the UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying games. He had six assists, which means he helped his teammates score six goals. He had the same number of assists as Arkadiusz Milik and Vladimír Weiss.
He stopped playing for the national team on 29 December 2017.
