City Planning and Improvements

Sobyanin has worked on changing how Moscow is planned and developed. He has tried to make city planning more sensible.

The city has put a lot of effort into making the city center more beautiful and friendly for people walking. They planted many trees and widened sidewalks. They also added special lanes for bicycles and a new public bike-sharing system called Velobike. Many building fronts were also renovated to improve their look.
