Michael Kyle Williams (born September 23, 1998), known as Sheff G, is an American rapper from Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York City. He became well-known in 2017 with his song "No Suburban". Early Life and Beginnings

Michael Williams was born on September 23, 1998, in Brooklyn, New York. His mother was from Trinidad, and his father was Haitian. He grew up in the Flatbush area of Brooklyn. He was inspired to become a rapper by listening to artists like B.I.G. and Chicago drill rappers such as Lil Bibby and Chief Keef.

Before he started making music, Sheff G faced some challenges. He spent time in prison for a gun-related charge and for robbery. He was released from prison in 2017 and then focused on his music career.

Music Career Highlights

Sheff G was influenced by Chicago Drill rappers like Chief Keef, Lil Bibby, and G Herbo. In 2017, his song "No Suburban," produced by AXL Beats, became very popular. Many people see him as one of the first artists to create the Brooklyn drill music style. He later made a new version of "No Suburban" with rapper Corey Finesse.

Sheff G, along with fellow artist Sleepy Hallow and Corey Finesse, was managed by NuLa Entertainment. This company was founded by former NFL player, Junior Galette.
