Stanley Tucci Jr. (born November 11, 1960) is a talented American actor. He is also a producer, director, and screenwriter. He is known as a "character actor" because he plays many different kinds of roles. Stanley Tucci has won many awards for his work in movies and TV shows.

Stanley Tucci was born on November 11, 1960, in Peekskill, New York. He grew up in a nearby town called Katonah, New York. His parents, Joan and Stanley Tucci Sr., were both of Italian descent. His mother was a secretary and writer, and his father was an art teacher. Stanley is the oldest of three children. His sister, Christine Tucci, is also an actress.
In the early 1970s, his family lived in Florence, Italy, for a year. He went to John Jay High School. There, he played soccer and baseball. But his main interest was the school's drama club. He and his friend Campbell Scott performed well in many school plays. After high school, Tucci studied acting at the State University of New York at Purchase. He graduated in 1982.

Stanley Tucci started his acting career in 1982. He got his first role on Broadway in a play called The Queen and the Rebels. Around this time, he also worked as a model. Marriages and Family
Stanley Tucci married Kathryn Spath in 1995. She was a social worker. They had three children together. They also raised Kathryn's two children from her previous marriage. Kathryn passed away in 2009 at the age of 47.
In 2010, Tucci met Felicity Blunt, a British literary agent. They met at the wedding of actor John Krasinski to Felicity's sister, actress Emily Blunt. Stanley and Felicity got engaged in 2011 and married in 2012. They have a son and a daughter together.
Charity Work and Recognition
On September 12, 2016, Tucci joined other celebrities in a video for the United Nations' refugee agency UNHCR. The video aimed to raise awareness about the global refugee crisis. It was part of the #WithRefugees campaign.
