Story of Storks: The Movie
For a very long time, storks on Stork Mountain delivered babies to families. But one stork, Jasper, tried to keep a baby girl for himself. He accidentally broke her address beacon, so she couldn't be delivered. Jasper then left the storks. The storks adopted the orphaned girl and named her Tulip. The stork CEO, Hunter, stopped delivering babies. Instead, he started a package delivery service called Cornerstore.com.
Eighteen years later, Tulip is a young adult. She tries to help Cornerstore with new ideas. But her ideas often cause problems and make the company lose money. Hunter sees her as a big problem. He tells Junior, the best delivery stork, to fire Tulip. If Junior fires her, he will become the new boss.
Junior can't bring himself to fire Tulip. So, he moves her to the mail room instead. Meanwhile, a lonely boy named Nate Gardner wants a younger sibling. His parents, Henry and Sarah, are always busy with work. Nate sends a letter to Cornerstore. Tulip finds it and puts it into the old baby-making machine. This machine suddenly creates a pink-haired baby girl!
Junior hurts his wing trying to stop the machine. He's afraid Hunter will be angry. So, Junior agrees to help Tulip secretly deliver the baby. They use a homemade flying machine Tulip built. They crash and meet a pack of wolves who fall in love with the baby. Junior and Tulip start to care for the baby, naming her Diamond Destiny. Nate's parents, Henry and Sarah, realize Nate needs a sibling. They start spending time with him, building a landing platform for the storks.
Junior and Tulip then meet Jasper, who has been following them. Jasper almost fixes Tulip's delivery beacon. He just needs one piece that Tulip has had for years. Junior admits he was supposed to fire Tulip. Sad, Tulip leaves with Jasper to find her family. Junior continues alone to deliver Diamond Destiny.
Cornerstore's pigeon employee, Toady, finds out about Diamond Destiny. He tells Hunter. Hunter changes the baby's address beacon and sets a trap for Junior. Hunter fires Junior and sends Diamond Destiny to live with penguins. This is to keep the baby a secret and stop the company's profits from dropping. Junior is tied up and left alone.
Tulip finds Junior and they return to Stork Mountain. A big event called Storkcon is happening. They go to save Diamond Destiny from the penguins. Hunter and the other storks corner them in the baby factory. Junior sends millions of old letters into the baby-making machine. This makes it produce lots of babies, distracting the storks. Hunter tries to destroy the factory with a giant crane. But Diamond Destiny and some helpful birds cause the Cornerstore building to collapse. Hunter, still in the crane, falls and is no longer a threat.
After Cornerstore.com is destroyed, Junior encourages all the storks to deliver the babies. Junior, Tulip, and Jasper deliver Diamond Destiny to the Gardners. Junior sees a vision of Diamond Destiny's future. Nate is happy to see his new sister's ninja skills. Tulip finally meets her own family. Junior and Tulip become co-bosses at Stork Mountain, continuing their work.
