Sushi Pack is a fun Canadian-American animated TV show. It was created by Tom Ruegger and Nicholas Hollander. The show aired on CBS from November 2007 to February 2009.
The story is about a team of superheroes who are also human-like sushi! They are Wasabi, Ikura, Kani, Maguro, and Tako. These heroes use their smarts and special powers to save the world. They fight against bad guys and teach kids about important things. These include friendship, social skills, and how to work together as a team.
Sushi Pack was one of the last shows made by DIC Entertainment. This was before they joined with Cookie Jar Entertainment.

Find out more about the heroes and villains in Sushi Pack!
The Sushi Pack Heroes
These are the main heroes who protect the world:
- Tako Maki (voiced by Rick Adams) is a blue octopus. He thinks he's the leader of the team. Tako has six long arms and a fake eye patch. He speaks with a British accent. He can shoot colorful ink. Even though he's a hero, he sometimes wishes he could be a famous painter instead.
- Maguro Maki (voiced by Tara Strong) is a purple tuna. She is the smart and calm one of the group. Maguro can focus really hard to get psychic powers. These include floating, reading minds, and moving things with her thoughts.
- Ikura Maki (voiced by Andrew Francis) is an orange salmon. He can shoot sticky fish eggs from his hands. Ikura is usually calm but loves to compete with his friends. This can sometimes cause problems for the team. He often learns a lesson by the end of an episode. Ikura is also very scared of bears, even gummy bears!
- Kani Maki (voiced by Chiara Zanni) is a tough, tomboyish pink crab. Her pigtails are actually strong crab claws! She uses them to pinch her enemies. Kani can be a bit grumpy and often says others are "making me crabby." But she is also kind and often fixes things for the team.
- Wasabi Pow (voiced by Scott McNeil) is a green wasabi creature. He is the smallest but also the strongest member of the Sushi Pack. Wasabi is a spicy ball of hot mustard. He only makes squeaky noises, but his teammates always understand him. He can also shoot fireballs at bad guys.
The Legion of Low Tide Villains
These are the villains who try to cause trouble for the Sushi Pack:
- Titanium Chef (voiced by Adam Behr) is a mean catfish. He leads the Legion of Low Tide and plans their evil schemes. He also runs the sushi bar where they live.
- Fugu (voiced by Scott McNeil) is a blowfish. He can puff himself up to a huge size. Fugu often acts like the leader of the villains. He has an eye that works like a camera.
- Toro (voiced by Vincent Tong) is a very big tuna. He is strong but not very smart. Toro usually just follows what others tell him to do.
- Uni (voiced by Samuel Vincent) is a tricky sea urchin. He is very good at planning evil plots. Uni is one of the Sushi Pack's biggest challenges because he seems unbeatable. He can also change his shape and speaks with a Jamaican accent.
- Unagi (voiced by Brian Dobson) is a mutated electric eel. He is slimy and wild, with a good eye for details. Unagi can control electricity. Sometimes, he even helps the Sushi Pack!
- Mochi Macchiato (voiced by Jeannie Elias) is a mochi ice cream creature. She can freeze her enemies. Mochi looks sweet but is very cold. She has even become friends with Maguro and Kani at different times.
Other Important Characters
- Ben (voiced by Samuel Vincent) is a good friend of the Sushi Pack. He manages the doughnut shop where they live. Ben often gives the heroes good advice.
- Mayor Hack Martin is the mayor of Wharf City. He calls the Sushi Pack when there are emergencies.
- Jenny Flume is the chief of police. She often seems busy but still talks to the Sushi Pack.
- Satel-Lightning (voiced by Michael Daingerfield) is a robot monster. He was made when a meteor and a satellite crashed together. He starts out as an enemy but later becomes a friend to the Sushi Pack.
- Hideki (voiced by Maryke Hendrikse) is Tako's cousin. She is a purple squid. Hideki is very kind and friendly to the Sushi Pack.
