The seventh season of the funny TV show The Middle started on September 23, 2015. It aired on ABC in the United States. This season was made by Blackie and Blondie Productions and Warner Bros. Television. The show's creators, DeAnn Heline and Eileen Heisler, were the main producers.
The show is about the Heck family, who live in a small, make-believe town called Orson, Indiana. The parents are Frankie (Patricia Heaton) and Mike Heck (Neil Flynn). They have three kids: Axl (Charlie McDermott), Sue (Eden Sher), and Brick (Atticus Shaffer). The series shows their everyday lives and all the funny things that happen to a middle-class family.

- Pat Finn as Bill Norwood, another neighbor and friend.
- Julie Brown as Paula Norwood, Bill's wife and a friend to the Hecks.
- Beau Wirick as Sean Donahue, one of Axl's friends from high school. He comes back from college looking like a hipster and says he is now a vegan.
- Gia Mantegna as Devin Levin, Axl's college classmate and ex-girlfriend. They break up because Devin wants to see other people.
- Brittany Ross and Natalie Lander as Courtney and Debbie, two cheerleaders who used to date Axl.
- Paul Hipp as Reverend Timothy "TimTom" Thomas, a youth pastor at the Hecks' church.
- Jack McBrayer as Dr. Ted Goodwin, Frankie's boss at the dental office.
- Jovan Armand as Troy, Brick's tall classmate who becomes his friend.
