Titus B. Welliver (born March 12, 1962) is an American actor. He is famous for playing important roles in many TV shows and movies. You might know him as the Man in Black in Lost or Silas Adams in Deadwood. He also played Jimmy O'Phelan in Sons of Anarchy. One of his most well-known roles is playing Harry Bosch in the TV series Bosch and Bosch: Legacy. Titus Welliver has also worked with director Ben Affleck in several films like Gone Baby Gone and Argo.

Early Life and Education
Titus Welliver was born in New Haven, Connecticut. His father, Neil Welliver, was a well-known American painter. He taught art at Yale University. Later, he became a dean at the University of Pennsylvania's art school. Titus's mother, Norma Cripps, was a fashion illustrator. Titus studied drama at New York University in the early 1980s. This was before he started his career in movies and TV. While at New York University, he became friends with actor and comedian Adam Sandler.

He is well known for playing Silas Adams on the HBO series Deadwood. He also appeared in Prison Break and Life. In the fifth season finale of Lost, he played the mysterious "Man in Black". He continued this role in the final season of Lost.
In 2009, he joined the cast of Sons of Anarchy. He played Jimmy O'Phelan, an Irish gun leader. He also played Prosecutor Glenn Childs in the CBS series The Good Wife. He had a recurring role in the show The Last Ship. In this show, he played Thorwald, a warlord in a world affected by a global sickness.
His most famous TV role is playing the main character in Bosch. This series is based on the detective novels by Michael Connelly. The first season came out on Amazon Prime Video in 2015.
