Tom Grennan (born on June 8, 1995) is a popular English singer and songwriter. He grew up in Bedford, England, and now lives in London. Tom became well-known in 2016 when he sang on the song "All Goes Wrong" by Chase & Status.
His first album, Lighting Matches, came out in 2018 and reached number five on the UK Albums Chart. His second album, Evering Road, was released in 2021 and became his first number one album in the UK. This album included hit songs like "Little Bit of Love" and "Let's Go Home Together" with Ella Henderson.
In 2023, Tom released his third album, What Ifs & Maybes, which also hit number one in the UK. He has also sung on other popular songs, including "By Your Side" with Calvin Harris and "Not Over Yet" with KSI.

About Tom Grennan
Tom Grennan comes from an Irish family. He went to St Thomas More Upper School in Bedford. When he was 18, Tom had an accident that affected his jaw, requiring surgery.
Before becoming a singer, Tom was very good at football. He played for teams like Luton Town and even tried out for Northampton Town and Aston Villa. He is a big fan of Manchester United. He also worked for a short time at Costa Coffee. Tom shared that he almost moved to the United States to play football, but something told him to follow music instead.
Tom's journey into music began unexpectedly. He once sang a song called "Seaside" by The Kooks at a house party. He didn't remember it, but his friends were very impressed and encouraged him to sing more. He later studied acting at St. Mary's University in Twickenham.
When he was 18, Tom started performing in small pubs around London with his acoustic guitar. He did this for almost three years. After one show at a pub called The Finsbury, someone from Insanity Records heard him and offered him a music contract.

Music Career Highlights
Starting Out: EPs and First Album (2016–2018)
Tom Grennan's first collection of songs, called an EP, was Something in the Water. His big break came when he was featured on the 2016 song "All Goes Wrong" by Chase & Status. This song was chosen as the "Hottest Record" on Annie Mac's Radio 1 show. After this, he was invited to perform on Radio 1's Live Lounge and later on the TV show Later... with Jools Holland. The song "All Goes Wrong" reached number 65 on the UK Singles Chart.
In 2017, Tom was nominated for the MTV Brand New Award. He also made a quick appearance in Charli XCX's music video for her song "Boys". He also sang with grime artist Bugzy Malone on the song "Memory Lane". Tom performed in Trafalgar Square during the F1 Live in London show, which supported Formula One drivers.
In March 2018, Tom went on a UK tour to support his first album, Lighting Matches. This album was released in July 2018. One of his songs, "Found What I've Been Looking For," was used in the FIFA 18 video game soundtrack. It also became the theme song for Super Sunday on Sky Sports.
Becoming a Star: Evering Road and What Ifs & Maybes (2020–Present)
In January 2020, Tom Grennan released "This is the Place," the first song from his second album, Evering Road. He then released two more songs, "Oh Please" and "Amen," that same year. His fourth song from the album, "Little Bit of Love," came out in January 2021. This song became his first top-ten hit in the UK, reaching number seven. It has sold over one million copies in the UK and was certified Platinum.
Evering Road was released in March 2021 and quickly reached number one on the UK Albums Chart. It later received a Gold certification. Tom then had another top-ten hit with "Let's Go Home Together," a song he sang with Ella Henderson, which also went Platinum in the UK. He also collaborated with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris on "By Your Side," which became his third top-ten song in a row and also went Platinum. In August and September, Tom was a guest presenter on Radio 1's Future Sounds show.
In February 2022, Tom Grennan was nominated for two Brit Awards: British Song of the Year for "Little Bit of Love" and Best Rock/Alternative Act. In March 2022, he released "Remind Me," the first song from his third album. This song reached number 27 on the UK Singles Chart. In April 2022, Tom had an incident in Manhattan that caused an ear injury, leading him to postpone a show in Washington, D.C..
In July 2022, he released "All These Nights." In August 2022, Tom sang on KSI's song "Not Over Yet." This song debuted at number one on The Sky VIP Official Big Top 40 and reached number four on the UK Singles Chart. It became Tom's fourth top-ten hit and his highest-charting song so far.
Tom Grennan released his third album, What Ifs & Maybes, in June 2023. He supported this album with a big UK arena tour that started in March 2023. On September 13, 2024, Tom announced a new song called "Higher," which was released on September 20, 2024.
