Christopher John Grace (born July 12, 1978), known as Topher Grace, is an American actor. He is famous for playing Eric Forman in the popular TV show That '70s Show from 1998 to 2005. He also played Eddie Brock / Venom in the superhero movie Spider-Man 3 (2007).

Topher Grace's Early Life
Topher Grace was born in New York City on July 12, 1978. His mother, Pat, worked at a school, and his father, John, was a business executive. He has one sister named Jenny. His family background includes German-Jewish and Irish roots.
He grew up in Darien, Connecticut. As a child, he was friends with actress Kate Bosworth. Another actress, Chloë Sevigny, who later acted with him in high school plays, sometimes babysat him.
Topher Grace's Acting Career
Topher Grace started his acting journey when he was cast as Eric Forman in the TV show That '70s Show. The show first aired in 1998. He was a main character for seven seasons. He even made a short appearance in the very last episode of the show.
Major Film Roles and Awards
In 2003, Topher Grace appeared in the movie Mona Lisa Smile. The next year, 2004, was a big one for him. He played lead roles in two movies: Win a Date with Tad Hamilton! and In Good Company. For his work in In Good Company and P.S., he won an award for "Breakthrough Performance Actor" from the National Board of Review.
In 2005, Topher Grace hosted the famous TV show Saturday Night Live.

Topher Grace's Editing Hobby
Topher Grace enjoys editing movies as a hobby. He especially likes making his own versions of Star Wars films. He sees this as a relaxing activity.
In 2012, he edited the three Star Wars prequel movies into one 85-minute film. He called it Star Wars: Episode III.5: The Editor Strikes Back. He showed this special version to a few audiences.
In 2018, he created his own edited version of The Hobbit movies. He believed that The Hobbit story might have worked better as one movie. He did this editing to relax while working on his role in BlacKkKlansman.
In 2019, Topher Grace and editor Jeff Yorkes started a Twitter account for their editing work, calling themselves "Lou's Cafe." The name comes from a diner in the movie Back to the Future. Later that year, they were asked by Pixar to edit a special video for Toy Story 4, which was released on Pixar's YouTube channel.
Topher Grace's Personal Life
Topher Grace began dating actress Ashley Hinshaw in January 2014. They got engaged in January 2015 and married on May 29, 2016, in California. They have two children and are expecting a third.
Topher Grace supports FINCA International, an organization that helps people start small businesses by providing them with small loans.
