Victor Brian Hobson was born on February 3, 1980. He is a former professional football player. Victor played as a linebacker in the National Football League (NFL).
He played college football for the Michigan Wolverines. The New York Jets chose Hobson in the second round of the 2003 NFL draft. He played for the Jets from 2003 to 2007. Victor also played for the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals. After his football career, he became an executive producer in the entertainment industry.

Early Life and High School Football
Victor Hobson grew up in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. He traveled from New Jersey to Philadelphia for his high school football games. He played at St. Joseph's Preparatory.
When he was younger, his coach called him "Little Pup." This was because he had big hands and feet, and walked a bit awkwardly. As he grew, he became stronger and was nicknamed "Big Dog."
At St. Joe's, Victor played two positions: middle linebacker and tight end. In 1997, he helped his team win their first championship in 20 years. He was also named the best all-around player in the Catholic League. Victor received many offers to play college football. He chose to go to the University of Michigan, his favorite school.
College Football Career
At the University of Michigan, Victor Hobson played in 49 games. He started 39 of those games for the Wolverines. He made 277 tackles, which means he stopped the opposing team's players many times. He also had 15 sacks, which is when a player tackles the opposing quarterback.
Victor recovered 3 fumbles and forced 4 fumbles. He also defended 6 passes and made 2 interceptions. An interception is when a defensive player catches a pass meant for an offensive player. His 47 stops for losses placed him third in Michigan's history. In 2000, he won The Roger Zatkoff Award as the team's best linebacker. After his senior year, he entered the NFL draft.
Playing in the NFL
Before the NFL scouting combine, Victor Hobson was ranked as one of the top linebacker prospects. The New York Jets picked him as the 53rd player overall in the second round of the 2003 NFL Draft. He joined his college teammate, B. J. Askew, who was also drafted by the Jets that year.
Victor played five seasons for the New York Jets. In 2006, he had his best year with 100 tackles. This included 66 solo tackles and 34 assisted tackles. He also had 6 sacks that season. After his time with the Jets, he played briefly for the Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals in 2008.

In 2006, Victor Hobson and his wife, L’Tesia, started the Hobson & Hobson outreach program. They have worked to help children and adults with special needs. They have supported setting up homes for them in the United States and other countries.

After his football career, Victor Hobson started working in film entertainment. He works at Global Entertainment, a company founded in 2010. He has worked as a writer, producer, and director. He was an Executive Producer for the movie “C’mon Man,” which came out on June 26, 2012. Victor and his wife have continued to work on many movies together.

Victor Hobson and his wife, L'tesia Asensio Hobson, live in London and Beverly Hills. L'tesia is also a director and film producer. They have seven children.
