Villars-Burquin was once a small town, or "municipality," in Switzerland. It was located in the Jura-Nord Vaudois area, which is part of the Vaud region (called a "canton").
On July 1, 2011, Villars-Burquin joined with three other nearby towns – Fontanezier, Romairon, and Vaugondry – to form a new, larger town called Tévenon.

Villars-Burquin covered an area of about 4.82 square kilometers (1.86 square miles). A large part of this land was covered by forests, making up about 61% of the area.
About 33% of the land was used for farming. This included fields for crops and areas for animals to graze. A smaller part, about 5.4%, had buildings and roads.
Before 2006, Villars-Burquin was part of the Grandson District. When that district was closed, Villars-Burquin became part of the new Jura-North Vaudois District.
