Villars-sous-Champvent was once a small town in Switzerland. It was located in the canton of Vaud, within the Jura-Nord Vaudois area. On January 1, 2012, Villars-sous-Champvent joined with Essert-sous-Champvent to become part of the larger town of Champvent.

The town was located about 464 meters (1,522 feet) above sea level. It was about 4.5 kilometers (2.8 miles) west of Yverdon-les-Bains. This small farming village was nestled in a valley called Bey.
To the north of the village, you would find hills leading up to the Jura Mountains. To the south, there was a higher point called Mont de Chamblon, which is about 510 meters (1,673 feet) tall.
Villars-sous-Champvent was surrounded by other towns. These included Montagny-près-Yverdon, Chamblon, Suscévaz, Champvent, and Essert-sous-Champvent.
