- Voorst: This is an old village along the road between Apeldoorn and Zutphen. It has a beautiful old church. A small train station opened nearby in 2006.
- Wilp: This tiny village is on the IJssel river, across from Deventer. It has a very old church and a hospital. Wilp has been around since the year 768! Long ago, a saint named Lebuinus built a chapel there. The name Wilp might come from words meaning "well-water." Some people think ancient groups might have worshipped a holy well there.
