Wayne Bergeron (born January 16, 1958) is a super talented American trumpeter. He is known for playing the trumpet in many famous movies and TV shows. You might have heard his music in films like The Incredibles or Frozen.
Wayne is also amazing at playing very high notes on the trumpet. He can also play many different styles of music. He teaches music at the Los Angeles College of Music. He is also the main trumpet player for the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood.

Wayne's Musical Journey
Wayne Bergeron was born in Hartford, Connecticut. He grew up in Los Angeles. When he was younger, he first learned to play the French horn. But in his early teenage years, he switched to the trumpet. That's when his amazing journey with the trumpet began!
Playing with Famous Bands
In 1986, Wayne became the lead trumpet player for Maynard Ferguson's band. This was a big deal! He also plays lead trumpet for Gordon Goodwin's Big Phat Band. He has been with them since the band started. They even wrote special songs just for him to play.
Music for Movies and TV
Wayne has played on over 500 movie and TV soundtracks. This means he has helped create the music you hear in many of your favorite films! For example, he played the exciting trumpet parts in the movie The Incredibles. He also played for Despicable Me, Dreamgirls, Frozen, Superman Returns, and Toy Story 3. He even played a cornet solo for the Final Jeopardy theme song!

Wayne has also released his own music albums. His first album as a solo artist was called You Call This a Living? in 2002. His next album, Plays Well with Others (2007), was very popular. It was even nominated for a Grammy Award! On this album, he played with his old band leader, Maynard Ferguson.
In 2013, Wayne designed his own special trumpet mouthpieces. These are parts of the trumpet that help musicians make sounds. In 2015, he became an honorary member of a music group called Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.
