Superman Returns is a superhero movie that came out in 2006. It's all about the famous hero Superman from DC Comics and his main enemy, Lex Luthor. The movie was made by director Bryan Singer, who also helped produce it with Gilbert Adler and Jon Peters.

The main actors in the movie include Brandon Routh as Superman, Kevin Spacey as Lex Luthor, and Kate Bosworth as Lois Lane. Other stars are James Marsden, Parker Posey, Frank Langella, Sam Huntington, Eva Marie Saint, and Kal Penn. Even Marlon Brando, who passed away in 2004, appeared in a scene thanks to computer-generated images!

Superman Returns was released on June 28, 2006. It used the original score from the older Superman movies, created by John Williams.
