Wegenstetten is a small town, also called a municipality, located in Switzerland. It is part of the Rheinfelden district in the canton of Aargau.

Wegenstetten covers an area of about 7.13 square kilometers (2.75 square miles). A big part of this land, about 57.6%, is used for farming. This means there are fields for crops and pastures for animals.

About 33.5% of the area is covered by forests. The rest of the land, about 8.3%, has buildings and roads. A tiny part, 0.1%, is made up of rivers or lakes.

Most of the built-up areas are homes and other buildings (4.8%). Roads and other transport paths make up 2.5%. In the forests, 30.7% is dense forest, and 2.8% has fruit trees or small groups of trees.
