Wikimania facts for kids
Wikimania is a big international meeting for people who love wikis, especially Wikipedia. A wiki is a website where lots of people can work together to add and change information. This event is put on by the Wikimedia Foundation, which is the group that runs Wikipedia and other free knowledge projects. At Wikimania, you'll find writers, computer programmers, and researchers all coming together. The first Wikimania happened in 2005.
