Zhumadian (simplified Chinese: 驻马店; traditional Chinese: 駐馬店; pinyin: Zhùmǎdiàn) is a large city in southern Henan province, China. It is known as a prefecture-level city, which means it's a major city that also manages several smaller areas around it. Zhumadian shares borders with other cities like Xinyang and Nanyang, and even the province of Anhui.
In 2020, about 7 million people lived in Zhumadian. More than 1.4 million of these people lived in the main city area, which includes Yicheng District and Suiping County.
