The 1928 Detroit Stars baseball team was a professional baseball team. They played in the Negro National League. This league was one of the main baseball leagues for African American players. The Stars played during the 1928 baseball season.

The team had a great year, winning 52 games and losing 26. This was a very good record! They played their home games at Mack Park in Detroit. The team was owned by John A. Roesink.
