This season started on August 21, 2010, and finished on May 14, 2011. The team that won the year before was FC Bayern Munich. This season was also special because the Bundesliga got a new logo!

Top Teams and European Competitions
The teams at the top of the table get to play in big European tournaments. These are like international championships for club teams. The best teams go to the UEFA Champions League. Other strong teams play in the UEFA Europa League.
- Borussia Dortmund won the league this season. They were the champions!
- Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich, Hannover 96, and FSV Mainz 05 also did very well. They earned spots in either the Champions League or the Europa League.

Relegation Play-off Matches
A relegation play-off is a special two-game series. A team from the Bundesliga plays against a team from the league below it. The winner gets to play in the Bundesliga next season. The loser goes down to the lower league.
